Delete your account & data

Gauntlet Challenge — operated by Gauntlet Challenge Ltd

You can delete your Gauntlet Challenge account, and the data held with it, at any time. There are two ways to do it — one inside the app, and one here, so you can request deletion even if you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and your data straight away, apart from anything we are required by law to keep (see below).

Option 2 — request it here (no app needed)

If you have uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email privacy@gauntletchallenge.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm it’s you and then delete it — you do not need to reinstall or reopen the app.

Before you delete — cancel any paid membership first

If you have a paid membership, cancel it in your Google Play (or Apple App Store) account first. Billing is handled by the store, so deleting your Gauntlet Challenge account does not cancel a store subscription on its own.

What we delete

Your account and the data held with it — your first name, your profile image (if you added one), your short fitness description, your saved completions, and your connections. Your day-to-day activity posts will already have disappeared on their usual ~24-hour cycle.

What we keep, and why

Only what the law requires us to keep — for example, content held for an active report or legal hold (kept until the matter is resolved), and financial records where the law sets a retention period (for example, tax records for six years). Where the law allows us to tell you what we have kept and why, we will. This mirrors our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within the timeframes the law sets — usually within one month.
